Lash Extensions and Lash Lifts are enhancements. This means that the end result will vary depending on the natural lashes you have to begin with. Our lash lines vary from person to person. Some have 150 natural lashes per eye lid that are long and thick, others have 70 natural lashes per eye lid that are short, sparse and fine. Because of this the end result of a lift or extensions will vary. No two sets will be the same.

We work with you to discuss your expectations and share realistic feedback on what we can achieve without causing any damage to your existing natural lashes. Here at MesmerEyes Melbourne we believe in damage free lashing, so will not apply anything that your natural lashes cannot support.

Eyelash Extensions

Eyelash extensions are synthetic fibres applied to individual natural lashes to produce the desired enhancement. (These are different to strip party lashes). They are perfectly isolated (only stuck to one natural lash) meaning they will fall out over time with your natural lash when it is due to shed naturally.

Eyelash Extensions can be as subtle or dramatic as you desire (given your natural lashes can support it). Your appointment will start with a thorough consultation to discuss your expectations and what set would be most suited to you. There are so many lengths, curls, thicknesses and lashing techniques that we really can tailor the set to your needs and lash health. Whether you want a subtle mascara look without the need to wear makeup or want something a bit bolder and longer.

If you are not sure which set of lashes to book yourself in for, get in touch with us and we will make sure we leave enough room for your appointment to potentially have any of the sets, which we can decide upon in at the start of the appointment in the consultation.

Our refill appointments are done based on time. This means the more you look after your extensions the cheaper they will be to maintain. The specific time varies depending on the specific set you are having refilled (again if you are not sure when booking, get in touch and we can help you). As a rule of thumb, below we have included a guide for which infill would be most suitable based on how long it has been since your last appointment (unless you have experienced more loss than normal).

After four weeks the majority of the extensions left will most likely be grown out (as they grow with the natural lash similar to when you get your hair dyed and you get regrowth as it grows out), these will be gentle removed and replaced with a new extension at the base of the lash. Due to this and your natural lashes shedding (don’t worry, this is normal and happens to your natural lashes with and without extensions) if it has been over 4 weeks since your last appointment they are no longer regarded as an ‘Infill’ and you will most likely need to book in for a full set.

Classic Eyelash Extensions

Classic Eyelash Extensions is a 1:1 technique. This means for every health natural lash you will have one tailored extension applied to it. This set perfectly enhances your eyes and gives you a similar look to a well applied mascara. Highly recommended for anyone new to Eyelash Extensions.

Hybrid Eyelash Extensions

Hybrids are a blend of both Classics (1:1) and Russian Volume (3:1)

Russian Volume Extensions

Russian Volume is a technique where lashes are made into a ‘fan’ of lashes. The extensions used for this technique are finer and lighter which means more can be used on each natural lash to create a fuller affect without any added weight to the natural lash.

Our Russian Volume is separated into two types, depending which result you want.

Natural Volume

Applied 3:1 (3 lightweight extensions fanned….basically in a W shape…applied to 1 natural lash). This will create a light weight, full and fluffy look that will give you more volume than you are naturally blessed with, without being too over the top. This is our most popular set.

Glam Volume

Applied 4-6:1. This creates a full, dark and dense look (the result as always will vary depending on the health, strength and amount of natural lashes you have). This is the most dramatic set we offer that is ideal for clients with healthy natural lashes wanting a glam look.

Removals

These are the prices for a 30 minute removal. In some circumstances where you have had the extensions poorly applied or with too much adhesive it may take longer. The prices increase in 10 minute increments after the first 30 minutes. (Although this is not a common occurrence for well applied extensions)

Removal only new client | $40

Removal only for an existing client or with any full set | $30

Prices are $5-10 higher on all services on Saturdays.

Depending which service you are having (lash lifts or extensions) there are

some aftercare products that are highly recommended to prolong the longevity

of your lashes whilst upholding the health and hygiene of your natural lashes.
